Bury St Edmunds on Market Day

Shopping in Bury St Edmunds offers plenty of choice with a great mix of fantastic independents and High Street favourites. There are beautiful outdoor spaces to explore and a plentiful arts scene including theatre, live music, film and art.

Springfields, Spalding

Springfields Outlet Shopping & Leisure is a major outlet centre in Spalding, Lincolnshire. Located off the A16, it is the only outlet destination in the county, with 55 stores and 25 acres of free entry Festival Gardens, open 364 days a year.

The Tower of London & The Crown Jewels
Free Time to Explore the Capital

An icon of the London skyline, the Tower of London has served many purposes, from fortress to Royal lodgings to prison and storehouse and many more. It is an exceptional piece of English history and is currently used to house the equally famous and important Crown Jewels.
The collection includes around 140 objects, from crowns, to swords, to spurs and rings. Many of the Jewels were recently televised at King Charles III's Coronation in May last year.

Melton Mowbray is a lovely market town in Leicestershire and a popular daytrip of ours. Known as the "Rural capital of food" there is bound to be something here to take your fancy.

Thriplow Daffodil Festival & Country Fair

Today we head to Thriplow for the Daffodil Festival. The streets of this pretty village are lined with masses of daffodils, bringing a welcome splash of colour to the early spring. A day of fun activities and an opportunity to amble through over 100 stalls to find that something special.
Check out the blacksmiths at work in the Smithy and be entertained by the merry Morris dancers. Then recharge at Taste of Thriplow for street food and beer or enjoy hot drinks and homemade cake at the Village Tearooms. With live music being played all around the village it’s the perfect place to get some springtime cheer.

St Ives on Market Day

St Ives is a beautiful market town in Cambridgeshire. Monday's tend to be the busiest days, but with the most stalls open.
After St Ives we go to Cambridge, for some free time to explore the beautiful city.
