Overview
Wrights Coaches are seeking a highly organised and proactive Office Manager to oversee the daily operations of our office. The ideal candidate will possess strong supervisory skills and a solid understanding of administrative functions, including human resources and resource planning. This role requires excellent communication abilities, both verbal and written. The Office Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring a smooth workflow and fostering a positive team environment within a small team. Managing the workload of the team, alongside the rota for others will also be a key role, along with ensuring all customers are dealt with effectively, and in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and support office staff, ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality performance.
  • Manage administrative tasks including scheduling meetings, overseeing clerical duties.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and external stakeholders to facilitate smooth operations.
  • Implement organisational systems to enhance productivity within the office environment.
  • Maintain professional phone etiquette when handling calls and correspondence.
  • Answer all customers (In a small team) ensuring any quotations are completed.
  • Ensure all Private Hire Bookings are completed, and invoiced in a timely manner.
  • Ensure the DayBreak & Holiday programme are being managed by the office effectively.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in an office management or similar administrative role.
  • Strong supervisory skills with the ability to lead and motivate a small team effectively.
  • Excellent organisational skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong clerical skills, including data entry and document management.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with an emphasis on professionalism.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
